Leaders always look toward the future.

Prospector Research Corporation (ProspectorRE) traces its origins to Prospector Technology Corporation, established and led in New Jersey beginning August 1997. From 1997 to the present, the organization has operated from Piscataway and West Orange, NJ, delivering IT consulting services and professional staffing to enterprise clients while building a disciplined, performance-driven business development and account management practice. Throughout this period, the Principal/CEO maintained full responsibility for guiding a focused team of 3 to 5 business development managers and account managers, overseeing client acquisition, contract negotiations, project delivery coordination, and consultant placement.

One of Prospector’s signature accomplishments during this period was a multi-year engagement with Fujitsu Corporation in Edison, NJ, where Prospector supported workforce enablement by training more than 100 sales professionals and helping establish a preferred vendor relationship, while also managing project support and consultant staffing. Over an estimated 3.5-year span, Prospector contributed to major application conversion and migration initiatives aligned to complex enterprise objectives—including the accelerated rollout of an enterprise-wide e-business solution in under one year. The delivery approach emphasized custom development of shared core services, deployed over the web and integrated through middleware with legacy platforms—supporting a shift from product-centric operations to a customer-focused model and enabling key transaction-based functions such as registration, profiling, and the delivery of products and services. Across this and similar engagements, Prospector consistently delivered talent at scale, placing approximately 25 to 35 consultants annually.

In September 2007, Prospector Technology Corporation was acquired by a larger company, closing a successful early chapter of growth. Built on that foundation of enterprise delivery, staffing excellence, and measurable outcomes, Prospector Research Corporation (ProspectorRE) continues the Prospector legacy today—providing structured opportunity development, partner enablement, and high-quality IT staffing support to organizations that require dependable execution and sustainable growth in mission-driven environments.
